I study French

I am studying French by a NHK book and a TV program. 

Today I found this word - menu -. Menu means "set meal" in French. We call menu  "teishoku" in Japanese. But we often call a list of dishes "menu". It is similar to English.

That is very difficult...

I will study what menu originally means by books and paper!!! I cannot find the truth on the internet, sorry.
